Yes, I've seen this before. Check out YouTube; there are so many adaptations of this particular story, it's ridiculous. Something about it has really struck a nerve with readers, including a lot of budding filmmakers.
I am an illustrator based in the Los Angeles area and primarily work on storyboards and concept art for the entertainment industry. Some of my credits include the movies The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid, Inheritance, The Cat in the Hat, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I also do stuff for TV, commercials, music videos, and such, with shows like "Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc.", "Growing Up Creepie" and "Wolverine and the X-Men" among the titles I've worked on. I have also worked in the computer gaming industry, beginning with a nine year stint as an animator at LucasArts Entertainment. Some of the games I worked on include Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Full Throttle, Curse of Monkey Island, Herc's Adventures, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine and Force Commander. My more recent game credits include Midway's Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, Crackpot Entertainment's Insecticide and Autumn Moon's A Vampyre Story. I also delve into small press comics work when my schedule allows it.
